Physical Properties & Caste Ranking

The physical attributes of the Sklynch vary depending on their genealogy. This establishes very distinct differences in their outward appearance and is the base of their caste system.

  • Tall Breed
The highest class of Sklynch, only a very small percentage of this race is born to be the pinnacle of outward perfection that is the Tall Breed. They have a very skink like appearance, being much taller and lankier than other breeds of Sklynch. These breeds often appear paler than their brethren and can be as tall as 8.5 feet, but no lower than 6.5 feet. These are the highest political powers in the Sklynch Conglomerate and it is strictly forbidden for any other breed of Sklynch to be in a position of major control.
  • Short Breed
Somewhat of a misnomer, the short breed are tall breeds that outwards reflect appearance of tall breeds, but do not meet the height requirements of a tall breed and are more along the lines of the average height. Occasionally, they also have somewhat darker skins. their height is around equivalent to that of the humans. Generally these act as the middle command positions between the tall breeds and the grunt breeds.
  • Grunt Breed
Similar in height to the short breed, these Sklynch are much burlier and stronger having bodies perfectly suited for the jobs their caste system has deemed them only suitable to. Generally these Sklynch perform menial and physical tasks.
